Mascaret

DESCRIPTION

Roof cover element, the MASCARET sunbreaker is all contrast. MASCARET, a pierced, wave-patterned cladding, is made in elements of 2950 x 910 mm with each wave 68 mm high. Pre-assembly onto a pre-frame can be carried out by PMA in his factory, according to the architect's specifications, ready to mount on site.


APPLICATION

MASCARET profile is designed for roof covering or as sunbraker. This sunbraker is all contrast. MASCARET, a pierced wave-patterned cladding is made in elements of 2950 x 910 mm with each wave 68 mm high.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Allowable load for stainless steel 12/10°, 2 supports (pressure/negative pressure), span 2500 mm: 313 daN/m2

MANUFACTURING PROGRAM

1) Steel sheet:
- Galvanized in accordance with P 34-310 - grade S 320 GD+ Z225. Thickness: 1 and 1,2 mm
Pre-lacquered coating  HD 25, THD 35, PVDF 35, DURANAR XL in accordance with P 34-301.
Post-lacquered by powdering POLYESTER in accordance with NF P 24-351.
- Stainless steel grade X5 Cr Ni 18-10 or X5 Cr Ni Mo 17-12-2 in accordance with NF EN 10088-2. Mat, brushed or gloss finish (Please contact PMA for further details).
Thickness: 1 and 1,2 mm.

2) Aluminium sheet:
- Pre-lacquered, grade 3005 H44, 3103 H44 in accordance with NF A 50-452.
Pre-lacquered POLYESTER 25mm, PVDF 25mm or DURANAR XL in accordance with NF P 34-601. Thickness 1 and 1,2 mm.
- Post-lacquered, grade 1050 H24 or 5005 H24 in accordance with NF A 50-451. Thickness 1,2 mm. Post-lacquered by powdering POLYESTER only. (Thickness Mini. 60 mm) in accordance with NF P 24-351.


3) Colors:
Contact us for feasibility:
- Pre-lacquered steel: COLORISSIME color chart or NOVOLAC .
- Powder-coated post-lacquered steel: RAL color chart.
- Pre-lacquered aluminium: ALCAN color chart.
- Post-lacquered aluminium: RAL color chart.


Nota: In a context of pollution risks or particular environment a questionnaire of environment is at your disposal prior to any study

5) Options:
- Mascaret in copper, half-hard and hard. Rough aspect, pre-patina. KME color chart, upon PMA advices with validation after testing. Thickness 1,5 and 2 mm.
- Mascaret in zinc, unpolished, pre-patina, pre-lacquered. Vieille Montagne color chart , upon   PMA advices with validation after testing. Thickness 1,5 and 2 mm.
- Pre-Assembly  onto a pre-frame in factory (after study).

REACTION TO FIRE GRADING

This product may be used wherever the grading M0 is required.

FASTENINGS AND SUBFRAME

The fastenings are made in accordance with the « Règles professionnelles pour la fabrication et la mise en œuvre des bardages métalliques ».

Mascaret panels must be  fixed onto an adjusted subframe. This subframe is made in accordance with specifications Cahier CSTB n° 3194 - Conditions générales de conception et de mise en œuvre de l´ossature métallique et de l´isolation thermique des bardages rapportés.
