Cold-rolled steels for direct-on enamelling Solfer®

DESCRIPTION

Solfer steels are cold-rolled decarburised steels Solfer® and Solfer®+ from AFCS corresponding to grades DC03ED and DC04ED based on the EN 10209/96 standard, which are specially adapted to one-sided direct-on white or coloured enamelling after surface preparation.

They are intended for the manufacture of complex parts as they provide strong shock-resistance, very good surface conditions, and excellent performance against 'fish-scale' defects.

It is suitable for bending, roll forming, and drawing.

It is available in the form of sheets or coils with thicknesses from 0.50 to 2.00mm and widths from 65cm to 165cm. It has a smooth surface appearance that is scratch-proof and stain-proof, ideal for decoration and architecture.

It is joined by welding, crimping, clinching, or adhesive bonding.

Options: oiling, can be protected with a thin dry organic film (Easyfilm®).
